Good Peruvian food! Wish they could share some of their music on the background though!

YUM came here with three friends (my second time in) last week and was delighted! This is everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant. A taste of something different, friendly service, warm fresh food, yummy home made hot sauce, creative drinks, all for a very reasonable price (I think we only spent $25 per person, each got a drink and got plantains and yucca for the table). I can't wait to go back - what a treat.My first time in was right after I returned from a trip to Peru. I was missing the food and this place is SO AUTHENTIC I felt like I was back!

This is a great restaurant serving some tasty Peruvian food! The fried yuca here is a very good dish to try. I had the Aji de Gallina which is a pulled chicken based yellow Peruvian sauce, comes with some rice and and potatoes as sides. It was really good as well

With an incredibly diverse menu of Peruvian food, Machu Picchu is a must experience restaurant in Union Square. They have a variety of authentic items, from purple corn drinks to pollo chan chan, set in a bright and comfortable environment. The waiters are also very considerate and helpful about food allergies.Highly recommended for tourists and locals alike.

Love the chicken pea soup! I forgot what’s it called, but I’ll definitely go there again just for the soup! I went with the family on a weekday and all of us enjoyed our dishes! One of our orders came late, but we didn’t have any complains about the portions or the seasonings! If you like yours spicy, ask them for their hot sauce :)

The atmosphere was good -live singer gave it a good vibe. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. The sangria wad excellent. Not a bad place

The food was amazing! The pink drink was delicious and the steak we ordered fell apart. So juicy! Loved the large corn snack as well

Delicious food and very friendly server. Enjoyed the fried pork chunks app a lot. Perfect Pisco Sours, be sure to try this Peruvian classic cocktail.

Good experience. Server very friendly. Atmosphere was nice, quiet. Lomo saltado was very good and the portion was appropriate. The passion fruit juice was fresh and tasted delicious.

1st time trying Peruvian food. Food was delicious. Plenty of options to choose between meat, vegetarian and seafood. Ambience was nice with some live Spanish music. Friendly staff and quick service.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Ordered the Chicken Chan Chan, which was delicious from first bite to last. Only complaint is lack of chocolatey deserts, but that's easy to overlook. Expect to spend $30-40 a person, depending on if you order a drink or not. I'll almost definitely be back to try the spaghetti with chicken dish.

We arrived for an early lunch before the place opened, by mistake. They accommodated us regardless. The food was good and the service was efficient 🙂.

Absolutely delicious and worth driving to Somerville for. My husband and I had the mixed seafood ceviche which was the best we have ever had (and we've had many). The steak with Peruvian beans, chicken with spinach and seafood, and flan for dessert were incredible. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend checking it out.

The ambiance is lovely, service is fast and incredibly warm, and the food is INCREDIBLE. The vegetarian section of the menu was a great plus for my partner and I.

This restaurant was a great find. It's around the corner from a friend's house in Somerville so they location brought us in. The food was delicious. I had a beef dish that was like beef in pot roast. Yum. There was a fellow playing music on a couple of instruments - small guitar and also a musical pipe - and he was very entertaining and not too loud for the dining room. My friend had the flan for dessert and she said it was the best flan she has had. It was delicious- the small bite I was allowed to try. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. The food came out in a good amount of time - not too long. The prices were very good 👍. You could eat dinner without breaking the bank. $18-22 range for most items. I will go back weekend in the area. I will go back there

It was pretty good... The ceviche was good, just overpriced for the portion size, the Huanciana sauce was a little too spicy, but the pasta Verde was very well done :)

The food and service was great. I would recommend reserving a table in advance if you plan on watching futbol there. They have imported peruvian beer. We went during a Peru game and they stayed open until the game finished. The kitchen closed at 11 though but the bar stayed open.

Good service. Decent amount of authentic Peruvian dishes. Could have more still. (they don't have chupe de camerones). Alfajores are awesome!

Everything is just so perfect. Now there menu is equipped with pictures. Make it easy to pickdish from Spanish dish name. Peru dish is light but favourable.
